Daniel Miyares is a critically acclaimed author-illustrator of numerous books for young readers. His recent graphic novel, How to Say Goodbye in Cuban, received a Boston Globe Horn Book Honor Award as well as a GNCRT Outstanding Comics Award Honor. The New York Times called Miyares' work "stunning" and "versatile." Currently he's happily making more books and living with his family in Lenexa, Kansas.
